Health Assessments
Our health assessments determine whether your new starter has any health problems that could affect their ability to undertake their role, or place them at risk in the workplace.
We provide both New Starter Health Assessments and Night Worker Assessments, designed to identify any health considerations early and ensure appropriate support or adjustments are in place.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you speak to every employee who submits their health assessment?
Not necessarily, we only speak to employees whose answers warrant further investigation. The fee is the same whether we speak with them or not, and a feedback certificate is issued for everyone who submits a health assessment.
What if you deem an employee unfit for their role?
With the employee’s consent, we provide comments on their feedback certificate for you to consider. If we don’t have sufficient information to determine fitness, we may suggest obtaining a GP or specialist letter and/or a management referral so we can carry out a fuller assessment.
At what stage of employment are these done?
These assessments should be done after the employee has accepted their offer. It’s a good idea to ask them to complete the assessment during onboarding so you’re aware of any relevant recommendations from day one.
